효과적인 보상(Reward) 시스템은 건강한 에코시스템 구축의 필수 요소이다. 현재의 시스템은 데이터를 보유한 소수의 기업이 데이터에 보유에 대한 막대한 이익을 독과점하는 불합리한 시스템이다. 우리는 효과적인 보상 시스템을 통해 지금의 불합리한 구조를 개선하여 공정하고 효율적인 에코시스템을 구축할 것이다.

 

온택트 프로토콜의 모든 참여자(개인, 기업, 기관 등)는 타인이 생산한 데이터에 접근하기 전 해당 데이터의 활용 범위와 목적을 명확하게 해야 한다. 또한, 데이터 제공에 대한 명확한 보상을 지급해야 한다. 데이터를 생산한 개인은 데이터의 양과 질에 따라 합당한 보상을 받기 때문에 데이터의 가치를 인식하게 됨과 동시에 더욱 양질의 데이터를 공유하고 이를 통해 더 많은 보상을 받으려는 동기가 점점 커질 것이다.
